But on September 9, the streets of Los Angeles witnessed a very different kind of public gathering. Around 1,000 Catholics joined Archbishop José H. Gomez for a Eucharistic Procession through Hollywood, carrying the Blessed Sacrament past some of the entertainment capital’s most recognizable landmarks. Despite temperatures in the low 90s and unusually humid conditions, the faithful gathered at Blessed Sacrament Church for Eucharistic Adoration before taking their faith into the streets.
