Leo XIV "Interested" in Solving Tensions around Roman Rite - French Bishop
During the January consistory, Leo XIV told Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline of Marseille, France, of his wish to explore avenues for resolving the tensions surrounding the Roman rite, La-croix.com reports, citing anonymous sources.
One bishop, who also wished to remain anonymous, said that Leo XIV is allegedly "extremely interested in the question and asked us to think something through".
Another bishop, who has spoken with Leo XIV about the Roman rite, said that "for the Pope, what is done in France serves as a model" for other countries.
"It is the first time I have heard so clearly that the subject must be addressed at a theological level and not just in a pastoral and emotional way," he added.
Another anonymous bishop, from the southeast, said: "Behind the attraction to beauty and the sacred, there is a whole theological debate that some do not perceive: a distant God versus a God who draws near - encompassing a whole relationship with the world, freedom of conscience and interreligious …Daplü
Well, it's hard to have a theological discussion without an adherence to objective Truth and a willingness to follow where He leads.

New Ferula of Leo XIV Removes Nails and Passion of Christ
On Palm Sunday, Leo XIV used again a ferula that features a risen Christ leaving the cross.
He has used it since 6 January 2026. On 9 January, the Office for the Liturgical Celebrations told VaticanNews.va that the cross "unites the mission of proclaiming the mystery of Christ on the cross with the glorious manifestation of the resurrection".
The ferula "presents Christ no longer bound by the nails of the Passion, but with his glorified body", according to the papal office.
And: "The Paschal Mystery thus becomes a source of hope for humanity because death no longer has any power over mankind since Christ redeemed everything he assumed."

Allegedly there is no argument concerning taste. But some things are tasteless, disgusting and heretical.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen: “The essence of the diabolical is hatred for the Cross of Christ.” In 1947, Pope Pius XII condemned crucifixes depicting the Risen Christ (known as "Resurrexifixes")—crosses that do not display the sufferings of Christ. In 1921, Pope Benedict XV condemned twisted crucifixes.

Very beautiful
This photo must have been taken during the summer. In the winter are the streets plowed or do the residents have to wait until the snow thaws before they can get out of their houses?
Are there telephones and television?
Do you have wells for your water or is it piped in from some other place?
Please forgive all my questions but I am genuinely interested.

Cardinal Roche Could Be Replaced as Prefect of Divine Worship
Nico Spuntoni corroborated reports that Cardinal Arthur Roche, 76, could be ousted as Prefect of the Dicastery for Liturgy and become the Patron of the Order of Malta.
The position of "Patron" gained notoriety when Pope Francis appointed Cardinal Raymond Burke, 77, to it (2014–2017) in order to remove him as Prefect of the Apostolic Signature.
The current patron is Cardinal Gianfranco Ghirlanda SJ, 83. He was Francis’ trusted canon lawyer and the proponent of a reform that was not well received within the Order of Malta. He is also an enemy of Opus Dei.
Spuntoni was the first journalist to report that Archbishop Paolo Rudelli, a pro-Abu-Dhabi-document prelate, would become the Substitute, second man, in the Vatican Secretary of State.
The Grand Master of the Order of Malta, fra John Dunlap, is pushing for Cardinal Ghirlanda to be removed. He wants Cardinal Roche, who is close to Dunlap.
News of Cardinal Roche’s probable dismissal was first reported by his enemy, the English journalist …Daplü
Cardinal Cock-Roach should be simply bounced out of any position whatsoever! He is a pompous low-intelligent, self-important, fake-catholic pompous ass. The sooner he goes the better. What an absolute disaster along with the Francis he has been for the Church. Please God soon!

Marian Sanctuary in Northern Italy Denies Entry to FSSPX Pilgrimage
On March 28, a Lenten pilgrimage organized by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) was denied entry to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows in Cuceglio, near Turin, Italy.
Despite being announced in advance, the church doors remained closed to the group, which included priests, religious sisters, and families who had walked several kilometers in devotion.
The pilgrims had planned no Mass or formal liturgy - only a few concluding prayers.
According to the local newspaper La Voce, the decision to close the gates to the pilgrims was made by the rector of the sanctuary, Don Luca Meinardi, and by Bishop Daniele Salera of Ivrea. The newspaper comments: "A choice that inevitably contradicts an ecclesiastical vocabulary which, in recent years, has emphasized words like welcome, inclusion, dialogue, and mercy."

What a shame! But this is a good description of the matter in "conciliar church".
It appears that Our Lady of Sorrows is being held hostage. The Diocese of Ivrea is now in control of this facility.
When visiting the Diocese's web page, I noted a video of their service with the main cheese in charge. They all proceed in - None of them kiss the Altar.
