Catholic Italian author Vittorio Messori, 84, died on Good Friday in Desenzano, Italy. One of his most influential works was The Ratzinger Report, which was based on an interview with Joseph Ratzinger conducted in 1984. The book evaluated the Church's condition following the Second Vatican Council. Messori also collaborated with Pope John Paul II on the book Crossing the Threshold of Hope. In it, the Pope wrote that Jesus Christ is the unique Saviour of humanity and that Christianity contains the fullness of revealed truth. Book of Isaiah 52,13-15.53,1-12. See, my servant shall prosper, he shall be raised high and greatly exalted. Even as many were amazed at him-- so marred was his look beyond that of man, and his appearance beyond that of mortals-- So shall he startle many nations, because of him kings shall stand speechless; For those who have not been told shall see, those who have not heard shall ponder it. Who would believe what we have heard? To whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up like a sapling before him, like a shoot from the parched earth; There was in him no stately bearing to make us look at him, nor appearance that would attract us to him. He was spurned and avoided by men, a man of suffering, accustomed to infirmity, One of those from whom men hide their faces, spurned, and we held him in no esteem. Yet it was our infirmities that he bore, our sufferings that he endured, While we thought of him as stricken, as one smitten by God and afflicted. But he was pierced for our …Më shumë
Buch Jesaja 52,13-15.53,1-12.
"We have damaged the liturgy," said Cardinal Robert Sarah in a video interview with Le Figaro Idées (April 2). "It is too noisy. Too noisy. As if we were celebrating ourselves." He warned against reducing worship to mere "conviviality", insisting that a more sober liturgy celebrates the greatness of God. Cardinal Sarah also said: "Today, we practically never speak about salvation," and cautioned that "if the Church does not speak about the soul and what will happen to it after death, then it fails in its mission."

BILL GATES admitted “Humans Will Be “OBSELETE” And “We’ll Decide” If We Still Need You! In a chilling new interview, billionaire globalist Bill Gates dropped the mask and revealed the endgame for humanity. "Due to advances in AI, humans will no longer be needed." When pressed on whether society will still require people at all, Gates coldly replied: "Will we still need humans? Not for most things. We'll decide."
This morning Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, called Pope Leo XIV, and they spoke on the telephone. They exchanged greetings for Passover and Easter. They discussed the current situation in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Catholics do not celebrate Passover. Jesus Christ fulfilled the Old Law regarding Passover. To exchange greetings about Passover is to deny Christ's establishment of the Holy Eucharist and His death on the cross! Shame on those people!
Synodality in Action: During the Holy Thursday liturgy, Bishop Michael Martin of Charlotte, North Carolina, delegated the foot-washing ritual to lay men and women. The Eucharist was at the Jesuits' church. Bishop Martin participated in the ritual himself, but he also allowed members of the laity to perform much of the optional Mandatum.
Brian Williams on Twitter: Meanwhile in Charlotte, Bishop Martin delegated the washing of feet on Holy Thursday to lay men and women. +Martin did participate to some degree, but at this Jesuit parish where he chose to celebrate Holy Thursday, the laity assumed the role of the clergy for much of the (optional) mandatum.
